On the morning of February 17, KAFZCO | International Djibouti Industrial Parks Operation FZCO, in close collaboration with Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority, organized a Ramadan donation event for daily necessities.
Guided by the principle of "co-development and mutual benefit", the Djibouti International Free Trade Zone carefully prepared 100 packages of essential supplies and distributed them to low-income families in surrounding communities. Through these tangible and meaningful actions, the Free Zone closely linked “corporate development” with "community well-being", vividly interpreting the spirit of being a "good neighbor", and embedding ESG responsibility into everyday community life beyond corporate reports.

A care package represents a gesture of concern;
An initiative reflects a commitment;
A donation builds a bridge.
As an important outcome of China–Djibouti cooperation, the Djibouti International Free Trade Zone has consistently fulfilled its ESG responsibilities over the years—treating the community as a "close neighbor and embedding mutual benefit into everyday practice.
This donation is not only a heartfelt gesture ahead of Ramadan, but also a long-term commitment to fostering coordinated development between the Free Zone and surrounding communities. Through such continuous efforts, goodwill takes root within the community and spreads among neighbors, ensuring that the benefits of development truly reach local people.
Looking ahead, the Djibouti International Free Trade Zone will continue to serve as a bridge and link—using responsibility as its sail, cooperation as its oar, and development as its destination—to inject new momentum into the regional economy, create more opportunities for surrounding communities, and jointly write a new chapter of China–Djibouti friendship and cooperation.
