Introduction:

Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority (DPFZA) is a governmental entity that manages the administration, directives and operations of Djibouti's ports, Free Zones, Special Economic Zones and many other main infrastructures.

DPFZA is mandated to:

- Promote the Djibouti Ports & Free Zones as a commercial and logistic platform;

- Establish a business friendly environment with a business oriented legal framework

- Regulate the ports and free zones

- Invest on infrastructure, transportation and energy through its investment arm GHIH (Great Horn Investment Holding)

The Authority has a service hall on the first floor of the DIFTZ Free Trade Zone, and branch office on the 14th floor,  providing services such as business license registration, business license renewal, work permit processing, residence permit processing, visa processing, tax exemption application, and destruction of expired goods for customers in the park.
